On The Fringes of This World

There are regions, countries, nations—people, that have been completely left out. From Rwanda and Congo to Bolivia and Afghanistan, these nations show up on the world’s radar only as a small blip depicting the lowest denominator on the economic/GDP scale. Away from the popular media (MSM), they have fallen below the human conscience.

Conveniently forgotten is the fact that most of these regions are very rich in natural resources—rare earth minerals, precious metals/stones, and oil etc—and, hence, the target of loot and plunder by the civilized ones—The Purveyors of Freedom and Democracy.

While the rest of the humanity busy in its ‘virtual reality’, the humans on the other side live in constant pain and suffering.

There are a lot of stories about the dwellers of The Fringes that we plan to touch upon I near future.

Hope, there will be time to dwell upon it—some time soon.
